About Furnace Press:
Furnace Press was co-founded in 2005 by two Brooklyn-based arts groups, Ars Subterranea and Place in History. Both organizations focus on city architecture with a view towards the obscure and neglected: urban decrepitude, industrial ruins, disjointed neighborhoods. Furnace Press is intended as a means to communicate this interest both in documentary form and through artistic interpretations.
Each Furnace Press publication is produced under the auspices of either Ars Subterranea or Place in History. More information on these organizations can be found at the following websites:

About Our Publications:
It is our goal to publish traditional paperback books and architectural pamphlets along with limited edition items, such as artist books. All items can be ordered through this website and other outlets, as listed. More information on ordering can be found here.
Furnace Press is not currently accepting unsolicited
manuscripts, but we're open to queries. If you have a book project
